Requirements

3-6 years in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
EPA Certification required
Climb/descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics)
Wear required PPE
Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel for training or client needs
Ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks
Meet enhanced security clearance requirements
Expertise in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems
Strong customer service and communication skills, tailored to Shreveport’s community
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Nice To Haves

HVAC Journeyman license preferred
Familiarity with light commercial equipment; industry software knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment changeouts on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Servicing and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines
Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize system downtime
Troubleshooting and assessing commercial HVAC systems for optimal performance
Responding to emergency service calls with professionalism
Collaborating with our dispatch team to ensure seamless operations
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety standards
Working independently while delivering excellent customer service to Shreveport clients

Benefits

Hourly Rate: $30–$40/hour ($62,400–$83,200 annually)
On-Call Pay: $150 for scheduled on-call duties
Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours PTO, increasing to 168 hours with tenure
Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)
