About The Position
RLP Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead HVAC Sheet Metal Installer / Foreman to oversee commercial ductwork and sheet metal installations across the Greater DFW area. This role involves leading high-impact commercial HVAC projects for a company with over 15 years of consistent growth and strong client partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong background in HVAC sheet metal.
Requirements
- 6+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
- 2+ years in a lead installer, foreman, or supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal installation best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of HVAC installers on commercial sheet metal and ductwork projects.
- Ensure top-quality, code-compliant installations that meet or exceed project specs and deadlines.
- Work directly with project managers and general contractors to keep projects running smoothly.
- Mentor and train apprentices and junior installers.
- Maintain detailed records of job progress, materials, and hours.
- Occasionally travel within Texas for out-of-area projects.
