About The Position

Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is searching for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician for their Big Flats, NY team. In this role, you will service all equipment according to an established service schedule, and troubleshoot and rectify any potential problems for all our clients. For over 75 years, Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning has worked diligently to meet the changing heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners and businesses in Upstate and Central New York. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license / clean driving record required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Technical knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred
  • EPA – Universal Certification preferred
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred

Responsibilities

  • Service all HVAC equipment according to an established service schedule
  • Ensure that work is completed within company standards and within acceptable time frames
  • Troubleshoot and rectify any potential problems on-site
  • Partner with business owners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC needs
  • Responsible for accurately documenting all work completed according to company policy
  • Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service
  • Accountable for following all company safety procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
