Requirements

  • Completed an accredited HVAC/R Trade School Program PLUS at least 1 full year of independent field service experience (residential or commercial). OR 5+ years of hands-on commercial service experience in the field.
  • Must own and provide your own standard hand tools, meters, and diagnostic gauges.
  • Current Universal EPA certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to read schematics, run low-voltage diagnostics, test motors, check superheat and subcooling, and troubleshoot commercial systems.
  • A clean, insurable motor vehicle record is required to drive our company vehicles.
  • A dependable, professional mindset, high pride in craftsmanship, and great communication with customers and dispatch.

  • No prior commercial hot-side cooking equipment experience required--if you have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, we will fully train you on hot side!
  • Roll out in your fully stocked take-home service van with your daily calls dispatched directly to your tablet.
  • Run commercial service calls at restaurants, hospitality venues, and commercial kitchens across the Denver metro area without crisscrossing town all day.
  • Our parts coordinator steps in to source, quote, and stage components so you can complete your repair without endless phone tag.
  • Factory authorized, hot-side cross-training, and manufacturer-sponsored ongoing technical training

Responsibilities

  • Work on commercial refrigeration: Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, and display cases
  • Work on Commercial HVAC: Rooftop units (RTUs), make-up air systems, split systems, and exhaust hoods
  • Work on Commercial ice machines: Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman, and Follett (diagnostics, sanitation, and component repair)
  • Work on Foodservice equipment: Gas, electric, and steam cooking equipment, warewashing, and specialty restaurant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring, mechanical failures, compressor burnouts, TXVs, and airflow issues.
  • Submit parts requests directly through your work order.
  • Communicate directly and honestly with kitchen managers and restaurant owners.
  • Complete simple, accurate job notes on your tablet.
