About The Position

Join our Facilities team as a Commercial HVAC Technician. In this role, you will help keep our buildings safe, comfortable, and operating efficiently. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, while supporting overall building maintenance. This position works closely with site operations, vendors, and other maintenance team members to ensure facility equipment performs reliably and meets safety standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and customer service are essential. This position is eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Universal CFC Certification.
  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience, or a combination of related education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Ability to complete OSHA 10 certification within six months of hire.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting and maintenance cost management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems using building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
  • Work with BMS technicians to make system adjustments and improve equipment performance.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair building HVAC, refrigeration, and related equipment.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks to help maximize equipment life and reduce downtime.
  • Review work orders, estimate materials needed, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Perform emergency repairs and respond quickly to urgent facility issues.
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
  • Support general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, and painting repairs.
  • Assist with managing contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Respond to internal service requests and facility support tickets.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment controls and building systems.
  • Help train and support other maintenance team members.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
