About The Position

Byrum Heating & AC is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from start to finish. This role involves leading a crew, solving challenges, and delivering quality work. Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Leading commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Installing and replacing rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct systems.
• Reading blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Coaching and developing Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verifying proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
• Performing equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections.
• Communicating with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the installation process.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Completing installation documentation accurately and on time.
