About The Position

Detmer Mechanical, now an Ace Hardware Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Install Technician to join their growing team. This role is part of Ace Hardware Home Services, which aims to be the best, most trusted provider of home preservation services. The technician will be responsible for installing generators and related equipment, assembling and installing heating and air-conditioning units, and designing and installing HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping. The position requires maintaining accurate logs of work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5 years HVAC Commercial experience is preferred.
• Experience with ductwork, piping, oil, geothermal, and air flow is preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.

• Physically able to work on HVAC units - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

• This position requires driving a company vehicle and meeting company motor vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements.
• You must have a valid U.S. driver’s license for at least three (3) continuous years immediately preceding today’s date.

Responsibilities

• Install generators and related equipment, including gas lines used in a residential or commercial setting, successfully without supervision.
• Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units.
• Design and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
• Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.
