Craftsman / Handyman – Commercial (Columbus Area) Ace Handyman Services – Columbus is hiring a commercial multi-skilled Craftsman to join our growing team. This role focuses on our commercial projects — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently. This is not new construction — our work focuses on repairs, maintenance, and small remodeling jobs across multiple trades. The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry. Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name. Requirements
- Well-rounded, commercial multi-trade experience (not just one specialty)
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs from start to finish
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service mindset
- Organized, presentable, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual, and efficient
- Take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- Enjoy variety — no two days are the same
- Comfortable interacting with homeowners and commercial clients

Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of commercial repairs
- Handle punch lists, troubleshooting, and on-site problem solving
- Perform work such as: Carpentry and trim work Drywall repair and patching Basic plumbing and electrical fixes Tile and fixture installation Door and hardware adjustments
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Identify additional work opportunities and build customer trust
