About The Position

The All Weather Group is currently hiring for a Commercial Glazing Project Manager for their Commercial Edmonton location. The focus of this role is managing projects through all construction phases. The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and managing commercial glazing estimates and tender submissions, reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and coordinating with AutoCAD/shop drawing personnel during drawing development. They will also work with General Contractors, consultants, and architects to obtain shop drawing approvals, coordinate procurement of aluminum systems, insulated glass units, and hardware, and prepare fabrication cut lists and shop details for production staff. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support to fabrication and installation teams, reviewing system details for constructability and fabrication efficiency, coordinating project handoff to field superintendents and lead installers, tracking project changes, revisions, RFIs, and approvals during pre-construction, and assisting with scheduling and material lead-time coordination.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a commercial glazing field installer
  • Strong understanding of aluminum glazing systems and fabrication methods
  • Experience with estimating
  • Experience with shop drawings
  • Experience with procurement
  • Experience with fabrication coordination (including preparing cut lists)
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and glazing system details
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Practical understanding of field installation methods and sequencing
  • Experience coordinating with General Contractors and suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset
  • Kawneer preferred
  • Knowledge and experience working with Kawneer systems is strongly preferred

Responsibilities
