About The Position

UPS is seeking a high-potential Commercial FP&A Supervisor to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the Marketing, Communications, and Strategy organizations. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams—including Procurement, HR, Payroll, and GAC—to deliver accurate financial insights, ensure effective cost management, and support key business initiatives. This position is ideal for an early-career professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation, including the use of automation, data analytics, and emerging technologies to modernize FP&A processes and enhance decision support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-ops considered)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Interest in financial systems, data tools, and emerging technologies (e.g., Excel, Power BI, automation tools)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual business planning, monthly financial close, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage budgets, track expenses, and support funding approvals (ACC, Coupa)
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to support informed business decisions
  • Collaborate with Procurement, HR, Payroll, and GAC on vendor, personnel, and transactional activities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes using tools such as Power Automate, AI-enabled analytics, and dashboards
  • Assist with audit, fixed asset management, and ongoing compliance activities
  • Provide guidance and support to Commercial teams on financial processes and tools
