Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial floor care, janitorial services, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with hard floor maintenance techniques including stripping, waxing, and buffing
- Ability to operate industrial floor care equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on job sites
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing hard surface floors
- Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, and extractors
- Provide carpet cleaning services including hot water extraction and spot treatment
- Inspect floors before and after service to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and care for all floor care equipment and supplies
- Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and solutions
- Communicate professionally with clients and supervisors on job site expectations
