Requirements

3+ years of carpentry experience
Experience with finish carpentry
Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
Proficient with common carpentry tools and equipment
Strong understanding of construction methods and safety practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must provide basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Commercial tenant improvements
Remodels and renovations
Concrete formwork
Siding, decking, and exterior finish work

Responsibilities

Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Frame walls, floors, roofs, and install doors and windows
Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinets, and other finish carpentry elements
Build and install blocking, backing, stairs, and miscellaneous framing
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials accurately
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
Work collaboratively with superintendents, foremen, and other trades
