About The Position

CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery by transforming underutilized properties into smart kitchens. This role is a high-impact position supporting fast-paced multi-site operations, offering a combination of field leadership, technical oversight, and operational management. It's an opportunity to mentor technicians, shape facility performance, and has a clear path toward Facilities Management and Regional Operations leadership.

Requirements

  • EPA Certification
  • 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Experience managing maintenance priorities across multiple sites
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial facilities or restaurant/hospitality maintenance experience
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party contractors
  • HVAC/R certification or trade school background
  • Familiarity with CMMS/work order management systems
  • Experience tracking SLAs, KPI, procuring parts and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team of Facility Technicians across multiple sites.
  • Create and manage technician schedules to ensure proper coverage across shifts and facilities.
  • Manage work order priorities and allocate resources based on operational needs.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews, goal-setting, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Support technician development through hands-on training and advanced troubleshooting guidance.
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility repairs.
  • Coordinate with and support technicians with complex troubleshooting and high-priority repair escalation.
  • Approve and reconcile technician timecards and overtime.
  • Validate expense reports and ensure policy compliance.
  • Manage consumables, parts inventory, and repair-related spending.
  • Support budget forecasting and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Drive SLA compliance by monitoring response and resolution times.
  • Track and report key operational performance metrics.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to improve facility uptime and efficiency.
  • Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across sites.
  • Coordinate and validate third-party contractor reports and repair documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Support commissioning activities and evolving maintenance processes.
