About The Position

The Commercial Estimator role involves quantifying project components for pricing, developing unit prices, soliciting and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors, and utilizing various estimating and design software. This position also requires building and maintaining relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, participating in industry events, and mentoring subordinates. The role demands professionalism, pro-activism, and adherence to corporate values, serving as a role model for team members.

Requirements

Proficiency in estimating software systems including: Timberline, Isqft, On Screen Take-off
Working knowledge of design software systems: AutoCad, Revit, Bentley, Navisworks, Sketch-up Pro
Proficiency in basic management software systems: Word, Excel
5-10 years of experience in a relative estimating environment
Requires a college degree in a relevant major of study
Considerable, sustained concentration with frequent interruptions
Requires moderate, varied physical effort and dexterity including; sitting, standing, walking, seeing 20/20 with correction, talking hearing (with or without aid) and ability to utilize a mouse.
