Commercial Escrow Assistant

As a member of First American's family of companies, National Commercial Services provides single-point service for simple to multi-property/multi-state national commercial real estate transactions. First American is looking to add a Commercial Escrow Assistant to our growing commercial real estate team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Escrow team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties. This position plays a key role in transforming commercial real estate experience by empowering our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results.

- Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of escrow-related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the escrow process for simple and complex commercial transactions such as preparing documents for closing, inputting closing statement information, and handling disbursement and follow-up
- Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process; adapts communication style as needed
- Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings
- Work with innovative technologies to enable escrow transactions and communicates with customers to provide a phenomenal customer experience
