About The Position

The Commercial Engines Leadership Development Program (CELDP) is a business-focused, two-year rotational development program at Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines. This program offers growth opportunities and broad exposure to the Commercial Engines Business and the aerospace industry. Rotational assignments, each lasting six months, will take place in East Hartford, Connecticut, within various departments of the Commercial Engines Business, which focuses on designing, manufacturing, and servicing advanced aircraft engines for commercial airlines worldwide. Examples of assignments include Fleet Management, Program Management, Supplier Performance, Spare Parts Sales, Customer Support, Business Development, and Sales Operations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business discipline, such as Management, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Information Systems; Mathematics; Aviation; an Integrated Business and Engineering program; or related field with the major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with general business operations.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Adaptability to new teams and rotational assignments.
  • Proficiency with building/utilizing digital tools.
  • Project management and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with rotational supervisor on high-impact projects in support of key business objectives within Commercial Engines.
  • Present final projects to Commercial Engines senior leadership team at the end of each rotation.
  • Participate in an assigned mentorship program between current and new CELDP associates.
  • Support the CELDP program through functional assignments in recruiting, onboarding, and networking outreach.
