About The Position

Support the daily operations of the overhaul shop to help ensure reliable, consistent execution across service shop activities. This role impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution within the assigned area. The position operates with some autonomy and is focused on executing work within established functional practices and procedures. Sound judgment is applied within defined parameters, with guidance as needed. Working at our Strother Facility Our Strother facility is an advanced technology engine services overhaul site where employees help restore commercial and military jet engines to meet performance, functionality, and efficiency requirements. Teams at the site support operations including plasma, flame and wire spraying, polyurethane and Sermetel painting, heat treating, brazing, and TIG welding. In addition to internal engine repair and overhaul, the facility also operates an evaluation and testing operation with FADEC capability. Role Overview As an Overhaul Supervisor, you will lead front-line employees, including hourly team members, in support of safe, compliant, and efficient overhaul operations. In this role, you will help execute daily overhaul priorities, support process performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing/overhaul supervision; or a high school diploma / GED and a minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing/overhaul supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-line employees in daily overhaul operations.
  • Support compliance with safety, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Coordinate workflow, staffing, and priorities to meet overhaul schedules and business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Apply technical and operational knowledge to support execution of overhaul processes.
  • Escalate and resolve day-to-day issues using sound judgment and established processes.
  • Coach, train, and support employee development, including onboarding of new team members.
