We're looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator who is ready to play a key role in that growth. As our Commercial Electrical Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for a wide range of commercial electrical projects. Your work will directly contribute to winning new business, building strong client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of Brda Electric. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of electrical field experience preferred
  • 2+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to confidently interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Proven history of producing accurate estimates and profitable bids
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy
  • Professional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with estimating software and technology

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
  • Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment estimates
  • Develop accurate, competitive proposals for commercial projects
  • Coordinate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Evaluate project scope, constructability, and code requirements
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities that benefit both the customer and the company
  • Manage multiple bids while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process
  • Help drive continued company growth through successful project acquisition
