About The Position

Solid Rock Recruiting is working with an established commercial drywall contractor with a strong reputation and a proven track record on high-end commercial projects throughout Florida. They are looking to add an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator who can take ownership of estimates and help the team continue winning quality work.

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating commercial drywall and/or plaster
• Strong understanding of metal stud framing and drywall systems
• On-Screen Takeoff (OST) experience is required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for $1M+ commercial drywall and Division 9 projects
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Obtain competitive material and subcontractor pricing
• Manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines
• Help develop complete and competitive bid proposals
