About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate deliveries; customer service; teamwork with store personnel and commercial accounts; and compliance with company policies and fleet safety requirements. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Drivers load and unload merchandise, follow route schedules, collect returns and parts, process customer payments, and maintain delivery vehicles. They also stay informed about products and promotions through AutoZone systems and provide professional automotive advice and installation-service offers to customers. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, as well as the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear, professional automotive advice and offers of installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support effective teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay current on promotions and automotive products using AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
