Commercial Door Technicians & Installers - Experienced or Trainees!
About The Position
The DH Pace Company, a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices across the continental United States, is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. Overhead Door Company of Northeast Kansas™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring Commercial Door Technicians & Commercial Door Installers specializing in Automatic Entry Doors, Manual Entry Doors, and Commercial Doors. They are seeking both experienced technicians/installers and trainees, offering a hiring bonus of $2,500 for those with verifiable industry experience in commercial or entry door systems, and $1,000 for trainees willing to learn. The role requires the ability to safely lift 75lbs overhead and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Experience in construction, general labor, service technician, installer, carpentry, mechanics, assembly, or any skilled trade is considered a strong starting point.
Requirements
- Able to safely lift 75 pounds over your head
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is a great starting point!
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; however, we are willing to train!
Responsibilities
- Install/Service commercial entry doors and door hardware
- Install/Service of commercial doors (sectional, rolling steel, high speed, etc...)
- Repair, adjust, replace, and/or troubleshoot issues with entry doors and associated hardware or commercial doors
- Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times
