About The Position

The DH Pace Company, a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices across the continental United States, is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. The Overhead Door Company of St. Joseph™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is looking to hire Commercial Door Installer Trainees. In this position, you will learn to install a wide variety of commercial doors and door hardware. Experienced Technicians are also being hired. Requirements

• Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
