About The Position

Electrolux is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Commercial Director for its ~$2B Food Preservation category. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Commercial, North America and lead the end-to-end commercial strategy and deliver profitable growth for the category. This individual will serve as the category’s commercial authority: shaping our go-to-market approach through bridging Product Line’s vision for their portfolio strategy with executional excellence in close partnership with Sales and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Commercial Strategy, Merchandising, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven ability to deliver revenue and profit targets.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed organization with cross-functional leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial strategy for the Food Preservation category, including pricing, promotional planning, and channel / customer assortments
  • Support delivery of financial commitments (budget targets, business cases, etc.) through the development and execution of robust commercialization plans
  • Identify growth opportunities within the category through market analysis, consumer insight, and competitive intelligence
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Line, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial plans are aligned and executable
  • Serve as a senior commercial point of contact for Sales Leadership, including support for customer conversations as necessary
  • Support business planning with key accounts, ensuring category plans are reflected in customer commitments
  • Drive negotiations on pricing, promotional programs, and shelf placement in collaboration with the sales organization
  • Monitor performance / channel health and take corrective action to protect brand positioning and margin integrity
  • Track and report on key commercial KPIs including revenue, volume, market share, productivity, distribution metrics, and profitability
  • Leverage POS data, syndicated data (e.g., Alloy, MAP Armor), and internal reporting to inform decision-making and surface insights
  • Present business performance updates and strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Merchandising Managers, fostering a high-performance culture with clear accountability
  • Set individual and team priorities aligned to category objectives; conduct regular performance reviews and development conversations
  • Build team capability in category management, data analytics, and customer engagement
  • Act as a talent steward, identifying and developing future commercial leaders within the organization
