About The Position

The GE Appliances Commercial Development Program (CDP) is a 2.5-year program designed for early-career sales professionals to build a foundation for long-term commercial leadership roles. The program focuses on developing sales and leadership skills, offering a direct path to a field-based sales manager position. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of GE Appliances' sales organization, support functions, and tools necessary for a successful sales and marketing career. The program is set to begin in January 2027.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher completed within the 24 months prior to start date.
Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0).
Geographically mobile within the United States and willing to accept a field-based sales position upon completion of CDP program.
Schedule flexibility to adapt to various time zone requirements in assigned territories.
Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a Sales career.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Self-directed and motivated to succeed.
Ability to develop, organize and analyze sales plans.

Responsibilities

Manage and build significant Retail and Contract (Builder) businesses within the Inside Sales team.
Manage assigned sales territories with diverse customer types and growth opportunities.
Develop sales skills and business acumen through territory management.
Gain a better understanding of the overall business, industry, customers, and internal teams through a Headquarters Assignment (Cross Commercial Experience).
Participate in seminar training courses for general business training.
Interview for field-based Area Sales Manager (ASM) positions upon completion of rotations.
Be geographically mobile within the United States and accept a field-based sales position to graduate from the program.
