About The Position

The Nutramax Laboratories’ Commercial Development Program (CDP) is a premier development program for early-career sales and marketing professionals, designed to build the foundation for long-term commercial leadership roles within Nutramax Laboratories. This program concentrates on developing sales and leadership skills and provides a direct path to a field-based sales position or various in-house marketing roles. The approximate two-to-three-year program offers participants a comprehensive understanding of Nutramax Laboratories’ business, including its mission, culture, values, leadership model, sales and marketing organization, the veterinary science industry, broader Nutramax support functions, and essential tools for a successful sales and marketing career. The program consists of three key components: Intensive Commercial Development Training at Nutramax headquarters (~6 months), Veterinary Sciences Inside Sales (~12-18 months), and Veterinary Sciences Field Sales Support (FSS) Representative (~6 months) or Marketing Support Representative (~6 months). Candidates will join the commercial team at the corporate headquarters in Lancaster, SC for the initial ~12-18 months. After the first ~6 months, CDPA’s will transition into an Inside Sales Representative role, managing their own portfolio of veterinary hospital/clinic accounts within a virtual sales district. Success will be measured by sales growth, market share expansion, meeting strategic objectives, and increasing product depth per account. Following the ISR rotation, CDPA’s may have the option to intern as a Field Sales Support Representative (FSS) or in-house marketing intern for approximately 6 months, gaining broader business, industry, customer, and internal team understanding. Upon completion of these rotations, participants will interview for field-based Regional Sales Manager or in-house marketing associate roles. CDPA positions require geographical mobility within the United States and willingness to initially locate in Lancaster, SC, and later accept a field-based sales position or a position at headquarters.
