About The Position

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will provide technical research, analysis, and recommendations to the Program Managers and Air Force in developing short-and long-term strategic plans. You will utilize your in-depth experience in requirements development, logistics support, and readiness, programming, and mission suitability assessments to assist the Air Force ensuring secure, enduring, and redundant IA and MA systems are a top priority. Define and develop command requirements into historical and traceable documents that are critical to AF, DoW, and congressional leaders for program approval and funding. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft Life Cycle Logistics
  • Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM), “what-if-drills,” and all budgeting and funds management
  • Knowledge of Joint and Air Force requirements generation process
  • Knowledge of the DoW acquisition process
  • Ability to conduct analysis and provide recommendations
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience assessing modernization and sustainment activity impact on capability gaps
  • Knowledge of AMC command structure and staffing
  • Ability to analyze processes and provide recommendation for improvements
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skill
