We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist to join the Derivative Support Group within our Fund and Investor Services Operations Platform team. This role location is not specified in the provided context. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Perform daily OTC derivatives operational processing, including trade capture validation, lifecycle events, and position or cash updates. Execute reconciliations (trade, position, cash) and investigate breaks in line with documented procedures and controls. Identify, document, and escalate exceptions, processing issues, and potential NAV or client impacts in a timely manner. Support daily deliverables and reporting requirements for assigned derivative clients.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of OTC derivatives or financial products within Operations, Fund Accounting, or Middle Office environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a control-focused mindset.
  • Ability to follow defined procedures and operate effectively in a daily production environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence escalating issues when required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with data analysis beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
