About The Position

This position has allocated resources for relocation support. We are searching for the best talent for a Data Science & AI Co-op within the Digital & Commercial Innovation organization. We are looking for a motivated and analytical co-op to support the development of machine learning and generative AI solutions for commercial and healthcare analytics. Potential projects include using data science to improve e-commerce customer engagement and scaling AI-enabled approaches for medical procedure code labeling across clinical specialties. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly on applied analytics initiatives while collaborating with data scientists, commercial stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Python programming experience
- SQL and data manipulation
- Machine learning fundamentals
- Statistical analysis and model evaluation

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduates (Senior), as well as candidates currently pursuing a Master's, or PhD degree in one of the following fields: Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or Software Engineering, Information Systems or Business Analytics, Biomedical Informatics, Health Data Science, Other related quantitative disciplines
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Support development of machine learning and AI solutions that improve customer engagement and commercial decision-making.
- Analyze commercial, e-commerce, and healthcare datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Assist with development and evaluation of predictive models, generative AI applications, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
- Support expansion of AI-enabled procedure code labeling capabilities, including specialty-specific prompt development, testing, and documentation.
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools that translate data into business recommendations.
- Evaluate model performance, data quality, and analytical integrity across data science solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
- Develop technical documentation, reports, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations.
