The Commercial Credit Underwriter II position is included in a workplace model that allows a combination of remote and in-person work. As a Commercial Credit Underwriter II, the essential responsibilities include underwriting commercial and business loan requests, evaluating and analyzing cash flow, underwriting collateral, analyzing industry and market risk, identifying concentrations and risks, creating projections, analyzing financial statements and tax returns, developing written presentations and analysis, obtaining and analyzing credit reports, identifying and assisting with covenants and lending structure, identifying policy exceptions and risks, measuring risk-reward ratios, participating in client calls and site visits, underwriting Small Business loan requests, assuming responsibilities of the senior Credit Underwriter in their absence, managing projects, completing testing for financial covenants, and validating accuracy of information submitted to the Bank’s borrowing base monitoring system.
