Middesk is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join their Legal team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day work of reviewing, negotiating, and redlining commercial agreements to support the sales team. This is a foundational hire, as the individual will be the second legal hire and the primary legal resource for Account Executives (AEs) needing to move quickly and close deals confidently. The role also offers influence over building out legal operations infrastructure, including tools, templates, and workflows for scaling. The position involves substantive work from day one, with the opportunity to expand beyond commercial contracts over time. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days per week in the NYC office, and candidates should be based within a commutable distance.
