Sr. Commercial Contracts Manager
About The Position
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Post-Award Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to manage post-award contract activities in a highly technical environment. This role focuses on Land Mobile Radio (LMR), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) contracting, ensuring successful contract implementation and maintenance. The position requires expertise in contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and negotiation, providing strategic recommendations to achieve favorable outcomes. The Contracts Manager will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, communicate contract interpretations clearly, and oversee Change Order Management through an electronic system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Extensive system integrator experience supporting LMR, SaaS, and HaaS contracting.
- Advanced skill in contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and negotiation.
- Demonstrated Change Order Management expertise.
- Experience working in a highly technical environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate within a team and with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- 10+ years of experience in one of the following: Contract Management, Engineering or Legal.

Responsibilities
- Analyze complex contractual requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to provide interpretations and recommendations that resolve disputes and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop negotiation objectives and strategies to resolve disputes, changed terms and conditions, and other requirements, including Statements of Work.
- Oversee Change Order Management using an electronic contract management system.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, delivering clear contract interpretations and well-reasoned recommendations.
- Manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to support contract implementation and maintenance.
