About The Position

The Commercial Contracts Manager position is responsible for the development and analysis of contract and change order budgets, while working closely with global business and functional teams. ProPharma partners with its clients through an advise-build-operate model across the complete product lifecycle. Requirements

  • 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably in life sciences.
  • Contract and Change Order development experience required.
  • Experience creating and submitting budgets.
  • Knowledge of industry standards relating to change orders and contracts including budgeting, document language, processes for creation and finalization, etc.

  • People management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate CRO budgets.
  • Draft high-quality contracts, change orders and associated deliverables.
  • Develop accurate complex budgets for contracts and change orders.
  • Understand contract and basic financial terms.
  • Accountable for the contracts and change order processes and deliverables, working in collaboration with global operational teams as needed.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, as needed.
  • Assist in training and support of lesser experienced team members.
  • Perform peer reviews and/or QC of less experienced team members.
  • Participate in client meetings, as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
