About The Position

Baldwin General Contracting is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a condominium project in the Bend area. The Superintendent coordinates on-site construction activities throughout all project phases and supervises field personnel to complete work on schedule and within budget. The role oversees safety, subcontractor coordination, materials and equipment, adherence to specifications, scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job-site safety. The position also contributes to preconstruction activities and permit or revision approvals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Superintendent experience on projects ranging from $10 million to $15 million.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of all on-site personnel and enforce OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Schedule subcontractors and vendors to support timely project completion.
Regularly communicate with the Project Manager about scheduling, material procurement, manpower, and construction challenges.
Perform quality control duties.
Ensure subcontractors perform according to their contracts and the project schedule.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety requirements or other job-site rules.
Maintain a daily written log of manpower, construction activities, and incidents.
Document each construction phase with photographs.
Walk the project daily to monitor activities, check progress, and plan ahead.
Assist with preconstruction activities, including budgeting, bidding, and awarding subcontracts.
Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
