About The Position

As Director of Construction at City Wide Facility Solutions, you will be responsible for finding, selling, and managing larger commercial construction projects. You will leverage an existing client base that already trusts City Wide for facility maintenance, and introduce new services like tenant improvements, remodels, and larger repairs. You will act as the active Qualifying Party for the Nevada Class B license, manage project bids, and oversee project execution from start to finish. The company handles accounting, HR, insurance, and bonding, allowing you to focus on job walks, proposals, and subcontractors. This is a leadership role for a licensed builder who prefers sales and project management over administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Four-plus years' Class B (General Building) experience within the last fifteen years.
  • Hold a Nevada Class B license, or readiness to pass the NSCB exams.
  • Hands-on commercial tenant improvement, remodel, and project management experience.
  • Proven estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Able to pass the NSCB background check and fingerprinting.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Nevada Class B license, or one eligible for endorsement (California, Arizona, or NASCLA).
  • A track record selling and winning commercial construction work.
  • Established Las Vegas or Reno subcontractor relationships.
  • OSHA 30 certification and commercial property management familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Carry the Nevada Class B license as the active Qualifying Party.
  • Find and sell larger projects within the existing client base.
  • Estimate, bid, and win commercial work profitably.
  • Manage projects through to on-time, on-budget closeout.
  • Build and direct a trusted subcontractor network.
