About The Position

Skillforce is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator for a full-time/direct hire role with our client. This contractor is looking for someone to stay and grow into a management position. The role is located in the Orlando, FL area, requiring the candidate to work out of the Kissimmee office when not traveling to local project sites. The salary range is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, with generous bonus opportunities. The company has a stable, long-term role with a company that has built trust over 55+ years. Requirements

• Interest in commercial construction estimating (waterproofing, caulking, roofing, protective coatings).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience with estimating software (Stack preferred, but not required)
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate, competitive cost estimates using Stack estimating software.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements.
• Lead and manage projects independently from pre-construction through closeout.
• Analyze labor, materials, and timelines to create cost-effective bids.
• Identify project risks early and recommend proactive solutions.
• Stay current on industry standards, pricing trends, and material/labor costs.
