About The Position
ServiceMaster Commercial Services is hiring a Commercial Cleaning Day Porter to support multiple commercial facilities throughout the Williamsburg area. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, paid training, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that promotes from within. Whether you're new to commercial cleaning or have previous experience, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. You'll work with a variety of commercial clients, giving you the opportunity to learn new skills, work in different environments, and become a well-rounded technician.
Requirements
- Is dependable and arrives to work on time
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Enjoys staying active throughout the day
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has reliable transportation
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Is authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Commercial cleaning experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Emptying trash and replacing liners
- Cleaning glass, entrances, and high-touch surfaces
- Restocking restroom and paper supplies
- Following company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Providing dependable service that exceeds customer expectations
- Assignments may vary based on business needs, giving you the opportunity to learn different facilities and expand your skills.
