Commercial Cleaning Contractor - Dallas TX
About The Position
Nexodus Clean is expanding its independent contractor provider network and seeks dedicated, reliable cleaning professionals to service designated commercial and industrial facilities under an independent contractor agreement. This is not an employment position: providers operate as independent 1099 contractors and use their own methods, equipment, and schedules within the scope of each service agreement. Providers may perform general cleaning, floor care, restroom and common-area cleaning, minor facility upkeep, and other tasks specifically agreed in the service agreement. They must follow site safety protocols and meet hygiene and presentation standards. Providers are responsible for their own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement. The stated pay rate is $25 to $30 per hour. Commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial, or facilities-maintenance experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality standards.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of a service visit.
- Dependable, self-directed work style consistent with independent contractor status.
- Provider supplies own tools, transportation, and supplies unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
Nice To Haves
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities-maintenance experience, especially in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping.
- Residential painting or industrial cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash in designated areas.
- Perform floor care, including buffing, polishing, and stripping.
- Use the provider’s own cleaning equipment and supplies for commercial- or industrial-grade tasks.
- Service restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas to hygiene and presentation standards.
- Perform minor facility upkeep tasks as scoped in the service agreement.
- Follow site safety protocols while performing services.
- Perform additional agreed-upon scoped tasks, such as painting touch-ups or light repairs.
