Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; physically able to mop for an extended period of time; ability to lift up to 30 to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Clean and supply designated facility areas
  • Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, concrete, or tiled floors
  • Use vacuuming equipment; vacuum and clean carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
  • Disposing of trash from bins and containers
  • Properly cleaning and disinfecting of facility walls and cabinets to remove any contaminates
  • Sanitizing and Disinfecting Operating Rooms and Post/Preoperating Rooms
  • Sterile Cleaning
  • Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
  • Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
  • Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
  • Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
  • Perform and track routine inspection
  • Perform and track maintenance activities
  • Notify management in case there is a repair and intervention needed
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
