About The Position

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner to join our team at a school in Bemidji, MN. This position involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas within the school, including classrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, and restrooms. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and adherence to cleaning and safety procedures. The cleaner will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, replenishing supplies, and reporting any maintenance or supply needs to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be available Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Must be able to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Ability to safely lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Physical stamina: standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. throughout your shift.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with dependability and respect for coworkers and customers alike.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and recycling
• Maintain clean and organized common areas
• Follow all cleaning and safety procedures
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs to a supervisor
