About The Position

Skillforce is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for ongoing project work on a secure federal site in Washington, DC. This full-time position offers steady hours, Monday through Friday, day shift, with weekly pay. The scope of work includes metal stud framing and interior finish work. We are looking for individuals who can lay out and frame metal stud walls and finish out what they build. This role is ideal for framers, drywall carpenters, and interior finish carpenters.

Requirements

• 3 or more years commercial carpentry
• Metal stud framing experience required
• Own a standard set of carpenter hand tools
• Pass a background check for site access
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and frame metal stud walls
• Set track, studs, headers, and frames
• Drywall work tied to the framing scope
• Punch list and interior finish repairs
• Work from prints and field measurements
