About The Position

Skillforce is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for an ongoing project on a secure federal site in Washington, DC. This role involves metal stud framing and interior finish work, with steady, full-time hours Monday through Friday. We offer weekly pay and are looking for skilled framers, drywall carpenters, and interior finish carpenters who can lay out, frame metal stud walls, and finish their work.

Requirements

• 3 or more years commercial carpentry
• Metal stud framing experience required
• Own a standard set of carpenter hand tools
• Pass a background check for site access
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and frame metal stud walls
• Set track, studs, headers, and frames
• Drywall work tied to the framing scope
• Punch list and interior finish repairs
• Work from prints and field measurements
