About The Position

Skillforce is hiring carpenters for projects in Memphis, TN. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for general carpentry, remodeling, trim, drywall, and painting work on an active jobsite. If you have 3+ years of carpentry and remodeling experience, apply now!

Requirements

• Three or more years of carpentry or remodeling experience required
• Experience with trim, drywall, painting, and general carpentry
• Comfortable working independently and following project plans and measurements
• Local to the Memphis, TN area
• Must speak English
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the jobsite each day
• Bring your own hand tools and required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, boots, and vest.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry and remodeling work on an active jobsite
• Complete framing and general carpentry work
• Hang, repair, and finish drywall
• Install trim, baseboards, casing, doors, and other finish carpentry
• Perform painting and touch-up work
• Read and interpret measurements and project plans
• Take accurate measurements and make material cuts
• Stage materials and keep your work area organized and safe
• Complete additional remodeling tasks as required by the project
