About The Position

This role supports their Line of Business in the development and execution of work projects to support the Business' goals & objectives. The Summer Intern embodies TD's Shared Commitments and customer-focused culture. TD Commercial Banking helps commercial customers manage their funds, finance their growth, and invest for the future by taking the time to understand their goals and customize products and services to suit their needs. This includes everything from governments, institutions and businesses, ranging from small "mom and pop" stores to multi-billion-dollar corporations. The Diversified Group, Nat'l, & Specialty Banking provides financial solutions to 3 core verticals: Healthcare, Education & Not for Profit, State & Municipal Finance, through teams of highly skilled relationship managers with deep expertise in their specialty core vertical. All verticals include lending within the Bank's regional footprint and on a national basis. This Commercial Banking Intern functions as an Account Manager Intern and will be exposed to all specialties: Healthcare, Higher Ed, Not for Profit, & Municipal Finance. Support lenders and underwriters across various tasks such as pipeline management, market/data research, collection information for portfolio management purposes and other ad hoc asks. Commercial Banking is offering in-person internship opportunities in New York, NY. Interns will be required to be in-office 4 days a week.

Requirements

  • Pursuing post secondary degree in business- related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability of your actions
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Anticipated graduation between December 2026 - June 2027 preferred
