About The Position
A Paralender in the Commercial Banking area assists Commercial Banking Advisers with processing and maintaining a large commercial loan book of business, with special emphasis on real estate and commercial construction lending.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial loans from request through approval, appraisal, title work, documentation, closing, and post-closing.
- Experience with loan advances through the inspection-for-percentage-of-completion process.
- Experience in portfolio maintenance, including clearing technical and financial exceptions, collecting past dues, renewing matured loans, and updating inventory.
Responsibilities
- Assist with customer contact and resolve customer problems.
- Order appraisals and title work.
- Prepare instructions for document processing.
- Ensure documents are prepared and closings are completed as approved.
- Order construction inspections and prepare construction draws.
