About The Position

Commercial Banking Business development role. Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking relationships. Generate loan and deposit balance growth through opportunities with existing customers, prospective customers and referral generation from COI network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
  • Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker
  • The ability to develop and manage a portfolio of up to $100MM
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of lending services and related areas.
  • Good managerial, communication and business development skills.
  • Must already be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.
  • Negotiate credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications.
  • Develop and maintain interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
  • Evaluate potential and existing customer loan requests and makes loan recommendations to leadership.
  • Review new laws and regulations that influence business lending within Partners Bank and makes recommendations to leadership as necessary.
  • Consistently generate new business opportunities in both loan and deposits.
  • Make policy and procedure recommendations as needed.
  • Consistent and regular Community involvement to promote bank brand, products and services, etc. i.e.: Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
