About The Position

As a Commercial Auto Territory Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, building strong relationships with independent agencies and driving the success of our Commercial Auto program. This is a hybrid role, blending field responsibilities with hands-on support to assist agents in quoting and growing their business. Your mission will be to expand market presence by appointing new agencies, supporting existing partners, and working with cross-department teams to accomplish shared goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and exceed goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrative ease with both verbal and written formats.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple levels of activity without compromise to results.
  • Must possess analytical ability at a level to interact with associates, managers, agents, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and apply data in business decisions.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and effectively work both independently and in a group.
  • Strong knowledge of agency operations, insurance products, and underwriting fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to grow business in a competitive market.
  • Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Meet with independent agencies and foster strong relationships.
  • Appoint new agencies within your assigned territory to expand AssuranceAmerica’s distribution network.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and maximizing existing accounts.
  • Provide training, quoting assistance, and ongoing support to agency partners to help them succeed with our products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and cross-department partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Represent AssuranceAmerica at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our presence and influence.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively outside of assigned territory, approximately 35%
