Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain customer-specific production schedules for long-term forecasts and short-term production demands, monitoring workflow and communicating On-Time Delivery risks.
  • Ensure accurate forecasts for monthly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs.
  • Interpret purchasing authorizations from supply agreements, place purchase order requisitions, and work with procurement to manage orders, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Support the fulfillment and application of MRP tools in the ERP system through forecast and order management.
  • Maintain understanding of document creation processes, including Lot/Expiration form creation, material receipt/release, batch record preparation, and ERP work order creation.
  • Track On-Time Delivery and document creation metrics for relevant business units.
  • Manage and monitor purchase order status within PCI-Rockford to meet On-Time Delivery metrics.
  • Collaborate with customers on component and artwork changes, communicating price variances to management.
  • Review and approve documentation, including specifications and batch records.
  • Create bills of materials, component item numbers, and ensure data entry accuracy.
  • Monitor and facilitate timely release of finished goods and assist in preparing shipment documents.
  • Assist with the disposition of Nonconforming materials and Component Variance Notifications.
  • Order and ensure shipper labels and print mats are ready for maintenance and production.
  • Ensure obsolete materials are dispositioned and invoiced after component revision or project completion.
  • Responsible for ensuring the destruction of obsolete and expired materials and providing Certificates of Destruction to customers.
  • Work with Incoming Quality to ensure timely release of components and bulk materials.
  • Allocate and manage lot-specific materials to Work Orders.
  • Maintain optimal component inventory levels for customer-owned inventory.
  • Provide continuous support to the Project Manager and team for daily problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new employees in the same role, as requested.
  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
