About The Position

Our team supports Animal Health business areas, including research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and animal monitoring, through data science, AI, and analytics. In this role, you will work with commercial partners and serve as the key point of contact within our team for delivery supporting the Commercial function in Animal Health. Our team is co-leading enterprise AH AI and DS strategy, serving as a DS and AI community facilitator, and helping non-technical colleagues deepen their understanding of DS and AI. Building on our long-standing work in AI and DS, we have recently added analytics to our scope and are now seeking a lead for this function. Relocation support is included for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical people management experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a commercial environment
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics/data science/AI, with a strong understanding of how solutions are built and delivered
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, Salesforce, omnichannel and commercial data
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated success in solving business challenges through data and delivering measurable value
  • Experience building and leading analytics communities or networks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and apply insights in a business context
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas for non-technical audiences
  • BCs in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or other related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics team supporting the Commercial function
  • Partner closely with AI and Data Science experts and Commercial IT leadership to ensure end-to-end delivery across the commercial project portfolio.
  • As people manager for the commercial analytics function, coach and develop team members, create opportunities for skills building and knowledge sharing
  • Build trust and credibility through effective delivery management and by demonstrating measurable value to the organization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across commercial business teams, commercial IT, and the broader organization to align priorities, remove barriers, represent execution plans and resourcing needs, and drive execution excellence.
  • Collaborate with relevant leaders to co-create how the Analytics strategy fits within the broader enterprise AI and Data Science strategy.
  • Develop talent and strengthen the broader analytics community by fostering collaboration, learning, and strong cross-team partnership.
