About The Position

The Commercial Ag Pre-Closer ensures loan files contain all required documentation, have been verified, and comply with applicable loan policies. The role provides customer service, confirms loan information and closing requirements, documents exceptions, and prepares closing memos. It verifies that files are accurate and ready for closing documents to be created, and provides a clear-to-close when requirements are met. The position also includes compliance with bank policies and applicable federal and state regulations, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to comply with applicable bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

One to three months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Compare loan requests with loan proposals and officer approvals for accuracy.
Review loan files to confirm all required documentation has been collected, including financial statements, tax documents, appraisals, corporate resolutions, and title work with sufficient coverage.
Record missing items in the pending/missing database.
Verify loan information by comparing worksheets with approvals and supporting documentation.
Confirm closing requirements have been fulfilled.
Track exceptions and verify that appropriate approvals have been collected.
Work with the Lending Assistant to correct discrepancies.
Create closing memos documenting items that need to be completed at closing.
Provide a clear to close when loans are accurate and ready for closing documents to be created.
Review documents before printing.
Comply with applicable bank policies and regulations and satisfactorily pass related tests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements; adhere to customer identification and due diligence procedures and report suspicious activities to the BSA Department.
