About The Position

The Regional In-Hot Water Commercial Specialist works with sales and operations teams to grow existing customers and create new ones. This role drives revenue through quotations, placing orders, checking stock, checking prices, and assisting in problem resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. The specialist is responsible for positively supporting the In Hot Water Program, which includes the commercial water heater replacement program and promoting the AO Smith (AOS) product line and other key vendor water solutions lines. This person must be knowledgeable and proactively support all product lines Reece offers.

Requirements

High School education or equivalent
Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a related wholesale distribution business
Inside Sales experience
Water Heater Product Knowledge
Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.

Responsibilities

Answers and quickly responds to the IHW after-hours number.
Directs assigned associates in afterhours openings and IHW deliveries.
Monitors AOS parts and water heating units' inventories at the branch location.
Appraises Branch and Purchasing Managers of recommended inventory levels as needed.
Monitors electric commercial conversion operation and assists when necessary.
Monitors IHW delivery associates, equipment and materials.
